Sometimes I do wonder what you all would say about my friend who can’t eat by mouth, who eats by a tube.

I wonder if you would tell her that it isn’t God’s will for her life, that it isn’t God’s design.

I wonder if you would tell her that it isn’t God’s BEST for her.

I wonder why we allow blood transfusions, since you’re all so bent out of shape about not interfering with the “natural order”.

I wonder why you’re so comfortable having opinions about people’s sex lives, why you are so sure that God will “heal” people from “deviancy” when my friend is on hospice with a “deviant” body that won’t behave how it “should.”

If you think being gay is so deviant, so trauma based, the solution of a whole entire generation of adults was to send kids to conversion therapy?

Watch out, they said to me as a kid. It’s a slippery slope.

But in the end it was just a bunch of kids, most of whom were beaten and starved by their parents for being human.

God. Just let them live, just let them love, just let them be. Why did you ever even care about this topic?

I can’t believe how much you all lied. I can’t believe what a sorry excuse for “discipleship” and “theology” all these teachings were, and how much damage you did to all of us.

I hate that you believe in a God who just overlooks that shit and feel so entitled to bank on his forgiveness.
